The National Gypsum Energy Company (NGEnergy)
was formed in 1999, with its primary purpose to provide
dedicated contract carriage to the National Gypsum Company, one of
the nations largest producers of quality wallboard and building
material products. The
fleet primarily serves two National Gypsum Company production
facilities in California and Arizona.
In addition to transporting wallboard for National Gypsum, the NGEnergy fleet supplies “spot” contract carriage to other customers in the western states. NGEnergy operates with model year 2006 conventional tractors and year 2006 Utility flatbed trailers. The trailers are all equipped with the Chameleon FreeLoad-R Tarping System, that allows maximum protection to the load. There are 28 power units in the fleet and 50 trailers. All of the units are equipped with Qualcomm’s mobile communication and GPS location package, allowing for constant contact with the truck and load tracking services available to our customers, on our website.
